Developing, managing and maintaining Portals and web-based Solutions

Starting Point

  • Processes for monitoring IT access rights, user roles, handling of IT help desk services were managed with the help of MS Excel, MS Access and e-mails from end users, which was no longer sustainable due to regulatory requirements.
  • Outdated solutions such as IBM Lotus Notes had to be replaced.
  • End-users demanded increased transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, auditability and flexibility erspecially with respect to regulatory requirements.

Approach

  • Analyzing and determining the target infrastructure.
  • Developing and implementing the portals and web-based solutions.
  • Migrating the portals and web-based solutions into the existing IT infrastructure and environment; especially connection to e-mail systems or project-specific data sources as well as the installation of end-user access controls .
  • Maintenance support with regular security patchings and updates of functionalities based on new requirements.
  • Ensuring interaction with the existing IT systems ans infrastructure as well as other corporate functions (e.g. audit).

  • Customized, web-based solutions that integrate with existing processes and tools and comply with Group policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Complete hosting of web-based solutions within the corporate infrastructure.
  • Increased transparency reduced redundant assignments, unauthorized inquiries, incorrect billing for IT help desk services and the associated costs to a significant degree.
