Developing and implementing an SPM Management Dashboard
Starting Point
- Due to the large number of service providers used, there was no transparency and overview of the efficiency and performance of each one.
- Feedback was collected and processed in lengthy processes that required a lot of manual effort.
- Upper-level administrators needed a way to collect data and display it in a kind of “Service Performance Monitoring (SPM)”.
Approach
- Collecting feedback on a regular basis using a wide variety of methods to obtain input for the development of SPM dashboards (checkboxes, traffic light indicators, percentage bars, etc.).
- Establishing an automated process to send reminder emails to suppliers to submit their feedback.
- Designing a user-friendly website where suppliers can submit their feedback.
- Providing assistance with emerging issues related to the platform, such as processes that require further consultation (need for advice) or analyses of collected data that involve different user groups and different access rights.
Deliverables/Benefits
- Established automated feedback process that allowed responses to be collected and analyzed in a more reliable manner.
- Intuitive user interface that greatly simplifies data entry and has been linked to a database that allows logging of data history.
- Quick and clear identification of “pain points” and areas where improvement is needed by visualizing the data in fab-coded status indicators.
